FLORA ALCHEMY - Exclusively for Artilleriet
Flora Alchemy are a series of textile works created using traditional dyeing techniques which combine local plants and flowers with silk fabric and water. All patterns and colours come from plants, flowers, roots and iron which are all found and picked in my garden. The garden holds a story about a woman who once lived there and grew medicinal herbs and plants, for which she was accused of being a witch. Her spirit and plants are present in all the textiles. Its a homage to her and to nature that we often take for granted. All Flora Alchemy textiles are handmade and every piece is unique.
