Hanna Kvarnhammar is a senior print and textile designer who entered the fashion scene after graduating from Beckmans College of Design in 2003. With over 19 years of experience in print, textile and fashion design, Hanna runs her own freelance studio specializing in print design and creative consulting. In her work she has created prints for brand-building collections for H&M Studio, H&M Guest Design and H&M Innovation. Her clients also include Rodebjer, & Other Stories, Röhnisch and Arket.
Hanna’s style is versitile and she approaches print and textile design with a sensitive touch. Her work involves a lot of research and experimentation to bring out the essence of craft, poetry, colors, mysticism and historical heritage in her prints. Hanna’s artistic approach often involves collages and a mix of techniques like painting, dyeing, repurposing old textiles and creating images through phone apps. She has also explored the world of natural dye techniques, which has led to partnerships with notable names like the Swedish interior company Artilleriet and H&M.
After more than two decades in Stockholm, Hanna now calls the countryside of southeastern Sweden her home.
